Code Of Conduct

SECR is the place for exchange of professional experience and communication. This Code Of Conduct must be respected for the safety and comfort of all participants.

SECR does not accept any kind of discrimination on the basis of gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, race, religion (or lack thereof), health, appearance, educational level, social and economic class.

Therefore, completely unacceptable are:

  • insults, humiliation, threats and harassment of participants;
  • sexual language and imagery;
  • sexist, racist, homophobic and any other discriminatory comments.

To avoid unpleasant situations, the organizers ask the participants to:

  • be polite;
  • respect different points of view;
  • respectfully accept constructive criticism.

The rules apply to all participants: listeners, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, partners. And apply to all SECR related spaces: prezentations and workshops, activities outside the program, networking party, social networks and other sites.

If you become a victim of harassment and abusive behavior, please contact the organizer on the venue or send an email. Every effort will be made to solve the problem. Insults will be suppressed by measures at the discretion of the organizer (including expulsion from the conference with no refund).
