Voxel-based 3D

I would like to discuss some powerful algorithms for processing 3D objects. Such as rasterization of an object, the construction of the distance field and the marching cubes algorithm. That allow you to round off the surface and get the surface at a given distance from the original.

In this lecture, we will examine the basic ideas of these algorithms with some depth. Pay attention to the advantages and disadvantages.

I consider this topic will be interesting for everyone who interested in «computer science» and algorithms.
